After-School Debate Classes

About This Course

The Bluegrass Debate Coalition is committed to providing low-cost yet high-quality debate education to students of all levels in the state of Kentucky. To fulfill this mission, we offer a variety of online synchronous courses that students may enroll in. Upon completion of our classes, students will have stronger skills in communication, critical thinking, researching, writing, and argumentation. Download the full course syllabus here.

Our High-School Courses are geared at students in grades 9th through 12th. These classes accommodate students of all different backgrounds. No matter your experience in Speech and Debate, we have course levels for you. The High School Course includes five sessions, each with 6 classes. Each class runs approximately 90 minutes. We offer three experience levels, including Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
