The National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) is a national honor society that provides our public forum debate topics. In order to support pf debate throughout Kentucky, the BDC provides free topic research, helping students prepare for upcoming debate events.
The Bluegrass Debate Coalition (BDC) utilizes the Public Forum Debate resolution released by the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) in our coaching and tournaments. To assist in facilitating a deeper discussion of arguments, the BDC releases completely free topic-specific files, known as the BDC Evidence Packets. Our starter Evidence Packets will include a topic analysis and cards for both the pro and con side to help students research and develop positions for the topic.
