Students

The Bluegrass Debate Coalition (BDC) is dedicated to expanding accessible debate opportunities to all elementary, middle, and high school students in Kentucky.

To accomplish this mission, the BDC offers a number of resources to students, coaches, and teachers including after school learning classes, published evidence / research packets, guest lecture events, summer camp programming, online courses in professional development and judge training, and more. We are working to provide every student with the opportunity to access the life-changing benefits of Speech and Debate.

The BDC has served 100+ students in the 2021-22 year through direct programming events, across 40+ schools in the Commonwealth.
