For Public Forum students debating using the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA), the January 2022 topic is “Resolved: The United States federal government should legalize all illicit drugs..” Our guest lecturer, Dr. Caroline Weber, a professor at the University of Kentucky, will be offering their subject matter expertise. Dr. Weber will provide a presentation related to the topic, followed up with a Q&A for students and audience members to ask questions. The BDC Guest Lecture Series will be hosted via Zoom on Wednesday, January 5th, at 6:00 PM. This event is free and is open to the public – all are welcome – students, parents, teachers, etc.
